Hello everyone!!! So it's been a while since I posted my last blog post and the reason is because I was a bit lazy and failed to push myself.
I've been kind of busy with my job hunting recently which really stress me out. Job hunt in Japan is very weird and intense. It's such a unique culture. I might even do a blog post about it since I think it's very rare and different from most of other cultures' and also very interesting.
Anyway, yesterday, it snowed where I live and I was so excited! When I woke up in the morning, the entire area was covered in snow and it was so bright to look outside because of the snow. I stayed in my house the whole day because it was kind of scary to drive and go out to the town in a snow. I had a very relaxed day to recover from all the stress and anxiety that I've been experiencing.
Last year, when I was in the States, it snowed so badly that we had a snow day, which means there was no class since the campus was closed. I was so excited because I had never seen that much snow before!

In the States last year |
Here are some winter wonderland photos that I took yesterday.
Found a doughnuts snow!!! It only looks edible to me...
So I stuck in my house so I'd decided to bake! This is a Lemon Drizzle Cake :) I saw Zoella and Tanya did a baking video on their channel and it really looked yummy so I had to try it!
Since I couldn't get the exact same ingredients that they used, I'm pretty sure it turned out a bit different but it still tastes amazing. I couldn't find self raising flour in Japan so I had to make my own self raising flour which I think was the hardest part. Also, I used honey for the drizzle instead of the icing sugar this time and it tastes so good! My mom tried it and she loved it.
So I quite enjoyed my day off at home.
