July Favorites 2014 ♡

Hello, beautiful people! How are you all doing? I am currently in Philippines for 2 weeks. Everything is new to me in Philippines and I am enjoying every second of it here. I think I'll share my experience here on my blog when I go back.

Anyway, it is that time of the month (not that time of the month), so today, I am going to share my July Favorites!! I did not try many products this month, however, I had discovered some products that I really like. I hope you'll enjoy it!

The first product is from Clinique. It is their cheek pop blush in Ginger Pop. It is a very nice warm shimmery reddish toned color. At first, when I swatched it, It look a bit intense on my skin and I thought it would not look natural on my cheek, especially on the summer. However, after I used it for several times, I fell in love with it. It is very subtle and smooth on my skin. You can build it up to make it look deeper, or you can just apply a thin layer to create the natural flush. Another thing I love about this blush is the packaging. It is clear yet looks somehow luxurious. And of course I liked the flower detailing. It fades away as you use it but it still looks amazing.

The next product is Diorshow Waterproof mascara in 258 Azure Blue. I was always interested in mascara that is not black because how cool is it to have colored mascara on?! I was not brave enough to try the color mascara but when I was at Dior counter the other day, I tried it and I loved it so much. And since I had a special discount, I decided to try it. This Azure Blue is a very beautiful deep blue color. It looks so so cool on brown eyes. I do have brown eyes and it really compliments my brown eyes. The color is not so overwhelming so I wear it daily. Also, I always use my regular black mascara and later on I layer the blue so that it won't look harsh. Also, I chose the waterproof one just because non waterproof never worked on my lashes. This was and is going to be my summer must-haves for sure.

Bare Minerals came out with their new line 5 in 1 BB Cream Eyeshadow. The collection came out in 10 different shades. They are basically like a liquid/ cream eyeshadow base double as BB cream to do all the good stuff. I got the color in divine wine. Ingrid aka Missglamorazzi was using this in one of her videos and she made me want to try it. Divine Wine is a very nice taupe color with subtle shimmer in it. Texture wise, I love it. It is very smooth and easy to apply. It stays all day and it looks nice on its own. I usually use powder eyeshadow on top but when I'm in a rush, I just put some highlighter on my eyebrow bones with it and I'm ready. I am definitely going to get another color. I really want to try the lighter colors. Do you have any recommendation? :)

Next, I'm going to talk about the body lotion. I got in in Japan and I am not sure if they are everywhere but it's by Johnson and Johnson. I like to use lighter lotion on summer days just to moisturize my skin and treat my skin from a sun damage that I have in a day time, without making it oily or thick on my skin. I usually use this in the morning and night. I also use this after I feel like I got sun burn because it is very refreshing. It smells so fresh and I love this scent on me. If you can get your hands on this, I highly recommend. Or you can try any fresh light body lotion for the summer!

Next item is kind of lame to mention it now because I know how EVERYONE was talking about it. It's NAKED palette from Urban Decay. I got this quite a while ago and I used it every now and then but not much. Recently, I just fell in love with the simplicity of the colors in the palette, and since I've been traveling much recently, I really enjoyed using this and brought this with me when I traveled. My favorite colors are Naked, Buck, Sidecar on the eyelids, and Smog and Darkhorse on my lower lash line.

You know what's coming next! You guessed it! Nail polishes. I have been LOVING the nail polish from a brand called CANMAKE. It is a Japanese very inexpensive brand and their quality is actually quite good for the price. Recently, I did a World Cup nail art (World Cup Brazil 2014 Nails) and I needed some fun colors but I did not want to spend 20 or 30 dollars on the colors that I do not use that much. So I decided to try the drugstore ones. These are about $5 each. Their nail polish is great because it is very smooth when you apply it and also the brush is nicely shaped and easy to apply. The pigmentation is also nice as far as the colors I have tried so far. The white one is my current favorite because it is very nicely pigmented and opaque and last a very long time. If you want to go for crazy fun colors or just a nice wearable nude color, CANMAKE will take care of it. I highly recommend their nail polished.

So, that is everything for my July Favorites 2014 and I really really hope you enjoyed it! Please let me know what you loved this month in the comment below :)

Thank you always for visiting my blog and being amazing.
I love you, and I'll see you next time.

Much love,
Mayumi :)
