Hello, beautiful people! How are you doing? I feel like it was a long time ago when I wrote my blog post last time. Whoopsie! Today, I am going to share some of my favorite products that I used so much in the month of August. Hey! It's already September! Can you believe that? Because I can't…
Anyway, let's start.

As you may or may not know, I traveled to Philippines in the early August and you know what I had to go through, THE duty free. I was able to find some time before my flight back to Japan, so I had to check out some airport goodies! When I found this Émerveillé cream eyeshadow by Chanel, I grabbed it and held it and never let it go. It was just I needed for the summer. I actually had been looking for it for so long in Japan and never really got it. It is a really beautiful champagne color and it's beautiful on its own but it's also a nice base when you apply some eyeshadows on the top. It doesn't crease or anything. I love it.
I found a couple of new favorites from my NAKED 2 palette this month. After I apply my Émerveillé eyeshadow, I love using Chopper all over the lid, Tease on the crease, and Foxy and Bootycall mix together for the eyebrow highlight. I just loved the coppery pink champagne color for the summer. Then I just do my regular black eyeliner and I'm good to go! What is YOUR favorite eyeshadow and a combination from the NAKED 2 palette?
I also enjoyed my new blush that I got in Philippines. Rockateur by Benefit. It's a very neutral rosy brown color with some pink shimmer in it. It looks very natural on my cheek and doesn't make it look like I have a blush on. It just looks like a "natural flush." I've been wearing this every single day and I love it.
St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot facial scrub is amazing. This is another thing I got in Philippines. It was deadly humid in Philippines and I felt my foundation was melting on my face everyday. So I needed something to cleanse my skin. It is very gentle on the skin and it smells very nice. After I use this, my skin feels smoother and moisturized. Highly recommend if you want to get rid of the dirt and your dead cell skin on your face!
L'Oreal Elseve extraordinary oil mist has been saving my life. My hair is very fine and it tends to get crazy when it's humid. I could use like a hair wax or cream but I do not weigh my hair down. This hair mist moisturizes my hair without weighing my hair down of making it look oily what so ever. After towel dry my hair, I spray it to my hair, first to the tip of my hair and to the middle or my hair lightly. When I wake up it the morning, my hair is definitely softer and silkier. I apply it again in the morning if needed. The scent is probably hit or miss. It's a very nice Ylang Ylang scent. I personally love this kind of like Asian-ish mysterious floral scent but I think it depends on your preference. But the product itself works like a miracle.
Sea Spray by LUSH also helped me so much this month. I had never tried sea salt spray because it was kind of hard to find in Japan. But I found this at LUSH and I decided to try it. First of all, I liked the scant. It's very fresh and summery. Texture wise, I like it. It kind of weigh down my hair a little bit but it also means that it's anti-humidity, which is very nice. Since I had my hair cut long time ago, I just didn't know how to set my hair in the morning because my hair tends to go crazy! So I spray it and it just creates the nicest beachy waves. I also like to apply it after I curl my hair so that the curl holds better. The only downside is the spray attached to it. The mist isn't very fine and it spray very largely. So when I apply it, sometimes I got it in my eyes or my mouth if I'm not careful. Other than that, amazing product.
Hourglass Mineral Primer is my favorite for the summer. I'm gonna start with the downside of this product. It is so super expensive. This one is the biggest size and I think it was like $60 (maybe more. I can't remember exactly). But it worths the price. I am not sure if I'll repurchase it only because of the price but I freaking love it.
So this primer helps control the oil on the skin and also evens out your skin tone a little bit. It's very light on the skin and it mineral base so if you have sensitive skin like I do, you gotta try it. It also has SPF 15, which is perfect for the summer time. I usually wear liquid foundation but when I don't want to wear my liquid foundation, I apply this primer and I just use my powder foundation to set it and it looks so nice and last all day! I cannot say enough good thing about this primer, except the price. I'm almost out and I don't know if I'll survive without this primer! haha
So that is everything! I really hope you enjoyed my August Favorites <3 Please let me know what was your favorite if you have any!
Thanks for visiting my blog, I love you always, and I'll see you next time.
Much love,
Mayumi :)
