Top 5 Winter Nail Polishes

Hello, beautiful people! How are you all doing? I hope you're doing great wherever you are <3

Today, I am going to share my Top 5 Winter Nail Polishes. I love wearing nail polishes. I think wearing nail polish or taking care of your nails is a very important etiquette as a lady or a man. It's probably one of my favorite beauty items to wear. I don't feel quite right without my nail polishes. Let me tell you before I begin…..it was extremely hard for me to narrow it down to five nail polishes. I was almost do my Top 7 but then I thought it's a bit…. awkward.

So I made it to my Top 5 and I really hope you enjoy it.

If you want to see how they look on my nails, please go check out my Instagram @mayumi1992 because I post my nail polishes photos there all the time.

Also, OPI happened to be ranked in a lot in my Top 5 but I really like other brand such as Essie, Zoya, and Revlon. I genuinely love every nail polish I own so I really tried hard to narrow it down to 5 so I hope you like them!

I tend to wear more darker and richer color in the colder seasons. I love wearing nail polishes because they just spice up not just my style but also my feelings.

(From left to right)

Melaga Wine by OPI is my favorite bloody berry colored red for fall and winter. It's not a classic or traditional red. It has a beautiful berry tone to it. It looks much prettier in person than on photos I took! I have used this nail polish so much that it's almost gone. When I wear it, I get so many compliments from my friends and people and I'm guessing that's a good sign? :)

Blue Rebel by Chanel is a very beautiful navy blue color. I never really thought that I would enjoy navy color on my nails but I really love wearing it. It's unique and different. You can really stand out when you wear it. For navy colors, I also like After school boy blazer by Essie and Passport Blue by American Apparel, but this Chanel one is different from any of the navy nail polish I saw. I don't know what it is but Blue Rebel has something classic and stylish that attracts me.

Jack The Lad by Butter London is a very beautiful glittery green color. It has multiple green color glitters/shimmer and it is so pretty. A dupe/very similar one is Rain Forest by Revlon. When you look at them, you may almost see them as identical but it's different. Rain Forest is one tone town than Jack The Lad and has more "moss green" tone to it. Jack The Lad is slightly brighter and vibrant. Also, Rain Forest does not have multiple green shimmer. It has light green shimmer if you look carefully. Both are my favorite greens but for this winter, Jack The Lad got my heart just by one point more.

My favorite Ornament by OPI is the queen of glitter. It's so holiday and it's so perfect. It's one of my holiday staple nail polishes but I think it's a perfect one for winter season in general. It's very very pigmented. It's not one of those glitter nail polishes that you have to scoop the glitter from the bottle. Just with one coat, you can get pretty good even glitter application. I love wearing it on its own, or with other nail polishes. I actually used My Favorite Ornament with Blue Rebel (by Chanel) for my New Year's day nail polish. I love the design and I think it's so cool so please check out my Instagram to see it. I think you'll like it ;)

The last one is Wooden Shoe Like To Know by OPI. I categorize this nail polish as my "nude" or "neutral" color nail polish. It's a reddish brown color. The color reminds me of Adzuki beans (Japanese reddish brown color beans) if you have heard of it. It's not just a simple brown or beige color, it has something different. It has subtle golden shimmer which looks so gorgeous when you see it. It's subtle, but that's why it's gorgeous. A (slightly) similar one, I would say, is Sable Collar by Essie. Sable Collar has more purply/plummy tone to it and it's whole another story but I say they are from the same family. Wooden Shoe Like To Know is chic and unique and I absolutely love it. It's one of those colors that I wouldn't mind wearing it every day.

So that was my Top 5 Winter Nail Polishes. Did you find something interesting or something that caught your eyes? Please let me know your which one you like from my Top 5 in the comment! Also, please tell me your favorite winter nail polishes in the comment. I would love to know!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, and I'll see you next time.

Mayumi :)
